Technique Tuesday with Carole Janson

Step Up “Journey Card”
Websters Pages Magical Wishes Ever After pattern paper (or similar)

Websters Pages Postcard from Paris Tres Mazique pattern paper (or similar)
Prima Strawberry Kiss Raspberry Lemonade pattern paper (or similar)
Trim card with embellishments –
I used:
Petaloo Peony Box Blend Large White Flowers
Petaloo Celebrations Double Delphiniums White
Prima Strawberry Kisses Collection Journaling Stickers
Chipboard Twiddleybitz Fence
Kaiser Green Gems
Beads
Step 1
Trim the "Prima Strawberry Kiss Raspberry Lemonade pattern paper 6 x 9 inches, then score the pattern paper at 3 inches, 6 inches, and 7.5 inches and fold as per photo.

Step 2
Trim the Magical Wishes Ever After 3 x 6 inches and stick to the card as shown in the below photo.

Step 3
Now you can cut out your embellishments, this is the fun part I used these pieces below for my card.

Step 4
Now you can start to stick your pieces that you cut out in Step 3, starting with the back of the card and working to the front of the card, the reason for this, is so you can see exactly how the card is going to display each individual piece, making sure the front of the card flows with the back of the card.

As you put the card together you can see how it starts to take shape.

This is my finished Card called “Journey” a special card for someone travelling or moving.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and I hope you have fun creating your own Step Up Cards. Thanks so much.
