Kristina Contes - February - Guest Designer!

Kristina Contes is our Guest Designer for February - we are thrilled to have her! Here is a little bit about Kristina:

"Well, I'm Kristina Contes. I'm 26 years old. I call Long Island my home. I used to study Interior Design but now own a restaurant w/ my husband J. I love all things imaginative...be it scrappies, photography, art journals, writing, painting, drawing, film, music...yeah. You get the picture"

Take a look at her blog: http://soundsofscience.blogspot.com/ - if you would like to learn more about Kristina!

Carolee's Contest (1/8-1/22) PRIZE!

Carolee's was very generous with their prize! There are two sheets of each paper you see here, two sets of acrylic stamps and 5 coordinating cardstock sticker sheets . . . these photos don't do them justice - and there is a lot of scrapbooking to be done with this stuff! I can't tell you - I had the hardest time taking photos because there was so much - so I decided to break it down somewhat and then give you an idea of the sheer amount of it - it covered my entire kitchen table! Thanks Georgana/Carolee's!

Teresa Collins - Guest Designer - January

Look at these great layouts Teresa Collins made with AMM's January kit (our DT did some incredible stuff too - don't forget to check them out on the slide show to the right or on the website). Too cute!

I am also posting Teresa's comments after each layout.

TIME - designed by Teresa Collins. I loved the rub ons for a decorative accent on the side. I used the CATS LIFE PRESS stamp and stamped it on the FABRIC FLOWER with jet black ink. I loved all the buttons in the kit, so I added a gem to the center of the button and adhered the button to the center of the flower. The flowers from the pattern paper were the perfect size to cut out and adhere the tiny gems within the center.

VACATION BOOK - designed by Teresa Collins. I loved the cardstock color and it reminded me of the perfect color to use on our vacation book. I loved the sticker tabs!!! I wrote on each tab the islands that we visited on our vacation. The I placed a photo behind the transparency sheet. I loved the pink in the transparency with the blue cardstock color. On the book coils, I added stickers to cardstock and created charms. I loved the time piece (clock), so I added it to the tag and let it dangle too.

ERIN - designed by Teresa Collins. I loved the rub ons and the red within them. I wanted MORE red, so I stamped a STARFLOWER in red acrylic paint. I used the buttons as the center of the flowers. I adhered the crown rub on to the oval chipboard piece to create a place to write her name. The pattern paper was so beautiful and the rub ons matched perfectly!!!!

January Kit . . . .

Okay - the kits are packed and waiting for the postal service! WAHOO! They are so darned cute . . . .totally gonna be worth the wait! Make sure you upload your projects in the gallery so we can see what everyone is doing with them!

Thank you for being patient!

January Kit

I promise this is NO indication of how the rest of the year will go (fingers crossed)!

January's kit will not ship until Monday the 8th. With the holidays and the slowed mail - orders were delayed in getting to us!

Don't be sad . . . . it will be worth the wait! ; )
